CLAIRTON, PA — A woman was killed and a man was wounded early Monday in a shooting in this small Western Pennsylvania city.
County 911 was notified of a report of gunshots fired in the 500 block of Washington Avenue. First responders found a woman and a man both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to an area hospital; his condition is unknown.
