1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Pittsburgh Shooting

PITTSBURGH, PA — One man was killed and another was wounded in an early morning shooting in Pittsburgh's Hill District.

At 12:14 a.m., police were dispatched for multiple ShotSpotter alerts totaling 15 rounds in the area of Webster Avenue and Lawson Street.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said one man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Medics took him to an area hospital, where he later was pronounced dead. The other man was struck in the arm and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
