1 Dead, 3 Injured In Pittsburgh Bridge Crash

A three-vehicle accident on a Pittsburgh bridge has left a woman dead.

PITTSBURGH, PA — One woman died and three men were injured in a three-vehicle collision on the West End Bridge early Saturday.

The crash occurred around 2:35 a.m.

When Pittsburgh police, fire department and EMS responded to the scene, they found the woman dead. She has yet to be identified.

The three men injured were taken to area hospitals. Their conditions were unknown Saturday morning.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said a a red SUV was traveling northbound from Route 51 when it hit a vehicle traveling west on West Carson Street before hitting another vehicle traveling southbound on the West End Bridge.

The bridge was closed for hours but since has reopened.
