Man Arrested After Fatal Pittsburgh-Area Shooting Death

A Pittsburgh-area man was shot to death Wednesday night, police said.

McKEESPORT, PA — One man is in custody after a fatal shooting Wednesday night in McKeesport.

Jeffrey Robinson has been charged in connection with the shooting death of Reginald Hall, 48, of McKeesport.

Allegheny County 911 was notified of the shooting in the 1800 block of Flagler Street at 10:18 p.m. First responders found Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Hall was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Prior to his death, McKeesport Police were able to obtain a description of the suspect and quickly relayed the information to responding detectives. A short time later, a responding county police
detective encountered a man matching the description along Enterprise Street in McKeesport.

Robinson, was taken into custody without incident. Officers noted Robinson’s shoes appeared to have blood on them, and a search of Robinson revealed a large amount of cash. A search of the money revealed two of the bills also appeared to have blood on them.

Robinson is charged with criminal homicide and robbery. He is currently being held in the
Allegheny County Jail pending his preliminary arraignment.
