1 Shot In Pittsburgh Supermarket Parking Lot

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was shot early Friday in the parking lot of the Giant Eagle supermarket in the city's East Allegheny neighborhood.
Police were dispatched just after 3:30 a.m. to the 300 block of Cedar Avenue for a single-round ShotSpotter alert. Arriving officers located a man with a through-and-through gunshot wound to the back of his neck. The victim told police an altercation took place before a man shot him.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.
