10 Can't-Miss 2020 Pittsburgh Concerts
Some of the music industry's heaviest hitters will appear here, including Green Day.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Although the new year has barely begun, some of the most famous acts in rock, country and pop already have planned Pittsburgh appearances in 2020. Here's an early look at who is coming to town:

- Post Malone, Feb. 24, PPG Paints Arena
Malone's latest album, "Hollywood's Bleeding" was released in Septemberand has hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 200 fivenon-consecutive weeks. Malone has had nine top 20 songs on the BillboardHot 100 and has broken the record for most simultaneous top 40 Hot 100

- Celine Dion, March 13, PPG Paints Arena.
Known for hits such as "My Heart Will Go On," "Because You Loved Me," "If You Asked Me To," and "The Power of Love," Dion hasn't appeared in Pittsburgh since 1998.Dion's powerful voice dominated the pop charts in 1990s and she has sold almost 250 million albums during her
35-year career.
She has earned five Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards, seven American Music Awards and 20 Juno Awards in Canada. Dion remains one of the most sought-after recording artists, receiving the Diamond award at the 2004 World Music Awards recognizing her status as the bestselling female artist of all time. In 2016 the Billboard Music Awards presented her with the lifetime achievement Icon Award.

- Reba McEntire, March 26, PPG Paints Arena.
The Country Music Hall of Fame member Reba McEntire will go on a brief 12-city tour in 2020 and make her first Pittsburgh appearance since 2010. Her latest album, "Stronger Than The Truth," was released in April 2019.

- Kenny Chesney, May 30, Heinz Field.
The first stadium show of the year here will bring the country superstar's "Chillaxification Tour 2020" to the North Shore. Chesney, making his first appearance in Pittsburgh since 2018, will be joined by opening acts Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion and Michael Frantl & Spearhead.

- Maroon 5, June 19, KeyBank Pavilion.
Best known for hits such as "Moves Like Jagger," "Maps," and "Animals," Maroon 5 last performed in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena in September 2018. Meghan Trainor will be the opening act.

- Journey and Pretenders, July 11, KeyBank Pavilion.
Fans can expect to hear iconic Journey classics such as "Lights," "Faithfully," "Any Way You Want It," "Open Arms," "Wheel In The Sky," "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)," and the seminal "Don't Stop Believin'," which is the top-selling digital catalog track in history. Pretenders' set will include hits such as "I'll Stand By You," "Back On The Chain Gang," "Brass In Pocket," "Don't Get Me Wrong," "2000 Miles," "My City Was Gone," "Middle of the Road," and more.

- Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band, July 20, PPG Paints Arena.
The ex-Beatle is coming to town with his All-Star Band whose latest incarnation features Steve Lukather of Toto, Colin Hay of Men at Work, Greg Rolie of Journey, Warren Ham of Ham
Brothers Band, Gregg Bissonette of David Lee Roth Band and Hamish Stuart of Average White Band. The tour will promote Starr's recently released 20th studio album "What's My Name."

- The Doobie Brothers, Aug. 6, KeyBank Pavilion.
The legendary Doobie Brothers will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a tour that stops in Pittsburgh. The tour will mark the first time in nearly a quarter of a century that the band will tour with singer-keyboardist Michael McDonald, the voice behind classic hits such as "What a Fool Believes" and "Minute By Minute." McDonald will join singer-guitarists Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons and multi-instrumentalist John McFee.

- Green Day, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Aug. 15, PNC Park.
The superstar acts are touring together on the "Hella Mega Tour." Green Day is known for hits such as "American Idiot," "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," and "Basket Case." Weezer's offerings include "Buddy Holly," "Undone (the Sweater Song," "Hash Pipe," and a recent remake of Toto's "Africa." Fall Out Boy's hits include "Uma Thurman," "Grand Theft Autumn" and "Dead on Arrival."

Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Aug. 16, PNC Park.
For fans of '80s heavy metal, this show will be the concert to attend in 2020. Legendary bands Def Leppard and Motley Crue are co-headlining the tour with Poison and Joan Jett being the open acts, and all four bands have an arsenal of well-known hits. Def Leppard last played here at PPG Paints Arena in June 2018, while Crue's last appearance here was at First Niagara Pavilion in August 2014.
