10 Events To Ensure A Fantastic February Around Pittsburgh
There's so much going on in Pittsburgh in February that an extra day was needed to cram it all in.

PITTSBURGH, PA - It might be the dead of winter, but it’s shaping up to be a very lively February in Pittsburgh. The variety of events this month include Broadway performances, superstar music acts, monster trucks and even robotic dinosaurs and skating mice.
Here’s what is happening around town in February:
- Miss Saigon, Feb. 4-9, Benedum Center
This acclaimed new production of the Broadway classic features a cast of 42 performing the soaring score that includes “The Heat is On in Saigon,” “The Movie in my Mind,” “Last Night of the World” and “American Dream.” The show is recommended for ages 14 and older.

- Monster Jam Triple Threat Series, Feb. 7-9, PPG Paints Arena
Prepare to experience a mix of action in six different motorsports competitions. Watch riders tear up the dirt in Monster Jam trucks, speedsters and ATVs. They will compete head-to-head for points in challenging racing and freestyle events testing their agility, speed and versatility.
- Jurassic Quest 2020, Feb. 7-9, David L. Lawrence Convention Center
In America’s largest and most realistic Dinosaur event, you can walk through the Cretaceous period, the Jurassic Period and the Triassic period. More than 80 life-size animatronic dinosaurs will be on hand and there will be dinosaur-themed rides, inflatable mazes, huge slides and the multi-track Dino Bungee Pull.

- 2020 Pittsburgh International Auto Show, Feb. 14-17, David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
This event brings auto enthusiasts and new cars together so people can check out a wide variety of new, classic and exotic vehicles in a non-selling environment. Expect to see the latest exotic cars from McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini, and you can take a seat in a sporty convertible, calculate the cargo space of a new SUV, admire the rugged off-road features of a heavy duty pick-up truck and more.
- Post Malone, Feb. 24, PPG Paints Arena
Hit machine Post Malone brings his Runaway Tour to town to support his latest album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding.” Released in September, it hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 200 for five non-consecutive weeks. Malone has had nine top 20 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and has broken the record for most simultaneous top 40 Hot 100 hits with 14.
- Cats, Feb. 25-March 1, Benedum Center
The record-breaking Andrew Lloyd Weber spectacular returns to Pittsburgh with an all-new lighting design, all-new sound design, new choreography and direction by Trevor Nunn, whose credits include “Les Miserables.”
- The Lumineers, Feb. 25, PPG Paints Arena
The Grammy Award-nominated, Denver-based folk-rock band comes to town in support of its latest album, “III,” which was released last year. Opening acts will be Mt. Joy and JS Ondara.
- Disney on Ice: Road Trip Adventures, Feb. 27-March 1, PPG Paints Arena
Exciting twists and turns await as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy embark on a wild ride to favorite Disney destinations: the rooftops of London with Mary Poppins, sun-soaked Motunui to help Moana restore the heart of Te Fiti and to a safari with Simba, among others.
- Pittsburgh Beerfest, Feb. 28-29, David L. Lawrence Convention Center
Presented by Fatheads Brewery, this event is expected to attract more than 15,000 people to experience hundreds of craft beers and food from food trucks and restaurants. All proceeds benefit Animal Rescue Partners Inc. and Biggies Bullies of Pittsburgh.
- Pittsburgh Polar Plunge, Feb. 29, Heinz Field
Jumping into a swimming pool in Pittsburgh at the end of February is a little nuts, but it’s for a good cause. Those who pay $50 for the privilege of leaping into the freezing water know it’s going to benefit the Special Olympics; the event typically raises more than $250,000 for the organization.
