13-Year-Old Boy Dies After Collapsing At Playground

The boy had been playing football, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA - A 13-year-old boy died Wednesday after collapsing while playing football at the Chartiers Playground in Windgap. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the boy as Jordan Duckett of Pittsburgh.

The boy collapsed while running off of the field, public safety officials said. He was taken to Children's Hospital and later pronounced dead.

The medical examiner's office will attempt to determine the cause of death.
