18-Year-Old Arrested In Pittsburgh-Area Shooting Death
Seven months after the fatal shooting, police arrested a suspect in the case.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a McKeesport man back in March.
Allegheny County police on Thursday arrested Sanchez Spence, 18, of McKeesport.
On March 1, county 911 was notified of a shooting in the 3100 block of Versailles Avenue. First responders found Robert Joyner, 47, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

Through witness interviews and surveillance video, detectives were able to identify Spence as the suspect in the shooting.
Spence is charged with criminal homicide. He is being housed in the county jail.
