PITTSBURGH, PA — First lady Jill Biden will make an appearance in Pittsburgh on Saturday as former President Donald Trump holds a rally in Butler County.

Biden is expected to arrive at Pittsburgh International Airport at around 4 p.m. Saturday, then speak at an Italian Sons and Daughters of America dinner in the city. It will be her second appearance in town in little more than a month; she spoke at a Pride event in Pittsburgh in June.

The first lady's appearance comes as President Joe Biden faces increasing pressure to drop out of the race after a disastrous debate showing against Trump last month. The president's many stumbles during the event sparked mounting beliefs that the 81-year-old Biden is unfit to serve a second term.
