2 Injured In Pittsburgh Home Invasion
Two people sustained injuries early Thursday during a home invasion in Pittsburgh.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people were injured after a home invasion and carjacking early Thursday in the city's Knoxville section.
Just before 12:30 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of Orchard Place for the reported home invasion.
An adult man and woman were inside the residence when approximately 3-5 men forced entry into the house. One of the men was carrying a rifle and two others brandished handguns.

The male victim was pistol-whipped by the men. He was evaluated by medics on-scene, but was not taken to the hospital. sported. The female sustained facial injuries but declined medical care.
The invaders stole $200 in cash, a handgun and car keys from the victims. They then stole the victim’s car. The blue Honda Accord was recovered a short time later in Arnold, Westmoreland County.
