2 Men Shot As Gunfire Erupts In Pittsburgh Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two men were shot and wounded early Wednesday in the city's Mt. Oliver section.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Parkwood Road at around 4:40 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Officers located two men in the doorway of a residence. One had gunshot wounds to the trunk area, one had a wound to his midsection.

Pittsburgh EMS transported both men to the hospital in critical condition.

There currently are no other reported victims.

The Crime Scene Unit processed evidence at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
