2 More Suspects Sought In Pittsburgh-Area Woman's Shooting Death

Two additional suspects have been charged in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old Pittsburgh-area woman.

SOUTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Charges were filed Thursday against two more suspects following a shooting that killed one teen and injured another. Both suspects remained at large as of Friday morning.

According to court documents, Jeheili Cochran and Anthony Barfield face multiple charges in connection with the shooting death of Annalaya Wilkerson on April 13. Wilkerson, 18, and a 17-year-old female were found shot on the side of Jolly School Road in South Franklin.

Wilkerson was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the chest. The juvenile was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Barfield was charged with criminal homicide and aggravated assault. The charges against Cochran include hindering apprehension and tampering with evidence, according to court documents.

Previously arrested in connection with the case are Windale Barfield Jr. and Karon Whitlock.Both have been charged with criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide.
