Penn State Beaver Shooting: 2 Dead In Murder-Suicide

No students were involved in the incident.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Two people died in an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday on the Penn State Beaver Campus about 30 miles from Pittsburgh in Beaver County. No students were involved in the incident.

Pennsylvania State Police identified the victim as Lesli Kelly, 49, a food services employee at the campus. Police said she was shot in a parking lot by her estranged husband, William Kelly, 52, who then shot and killed himself.

The Kellys were recently divorced and were having child custody issues, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. William Kelly went to the campus supposedly to drop off a Christmas present, but instead opened fire on his ex-wife.
