2 Pittsburgh Radio DJs, Famous Quarterback Launch New Dining Venture
Two prominent Pittsburgh radio personalities and a former NFL quarterback have teamed to begin a food truck and restaurant operation.
PITTSBURGH, PA — One is a current Pittsburgh morning radio show co-host, another is a former one. Together, they are teaming with an NFL Hall-Of-Famer and Pittsburgh native to launch a new local food venture.
It's called Yinzer Dogs. It's a venture of current KDKA-AM morning man Larry Richert; Jim Krenn, who spent decades on the WDVE-FM morning show; and former University of Pittsburgh and Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino.
Krenn recently announced the move on social media.

"Very excited to bring the best hot dog to the burgh in years," he stated in a Facebook post. "Our first truck opened for business today, with a second truck on the way."
Krenn also said there will be a Yinzer Dogs shop coming soon the to the Strip District. He did not specify a location or say when the shop will open.

"I’m really proud to be a part of this project to help celebrate all things yinzer in the city i love and grew up in.," he said.
