2 Winning PA Lottery Tickets Totaling $8.25 Million Sold In Pittsburgh Area

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two winning Pennsylvania Lottery Scratch-Off tickets recently sold in Allegheny County are worth a combined total of $8.25 million.

The winning tickets were each sold at different retailers in Allegheny County.

A top prize on the $500,000 a Year for Life Scratch-Off was sold at Kesari LLC (BP), 838 East Warrington Avenue in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood. The $500,000 a Year for Life Scratch-Off is a $20 game that offers a top prize of $500,000 a year for life or a cash option of $7.25 million.

Kesari will receive a $10,000 payment for selling the winning ticket.

A $1 million-winning Game Show Experience Scratch-Off was sold at Bellevue Tobacco & News LLC, 615 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Game Show Experience is a $30 game that offers top prizes of $1 million.

Bellevue Tobacco & News will receive a $5,000 payment for selling the winning ticket.

Scratch-Offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. The lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed.
