29 Pittsburgh Communites Make Top 100 Places To Live In PA List

PITTSBURGH, PA - Mt. Lebanon is the state’s third-best community in which to live and the best in southwestern Pennsylvania, according to Niche, a Pittsburgh-based website that analyzes neighborhoods, school districts and colleges.
Niche has released its rankings of the 100 best places to live for each state. Twenty nine southwestern Pennsylvania communities cracked the top 100, including three that made the top 10.
To calculate the rankings and assign grades to communities, Niche looks at factors like the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities. Niche gets its data from government sources like the Department of Education, the FBI and the U.S. Census. You can read more about Niche’s methodology and data sources

- Chesterbrook, Chester County
- Houserville, Centre County
- Mt. Lebanon
- Penn Wynne, Montgomery County
- Squirrel Hill North
- Ardmore, Delaware County
- Lemont, Centre County
- Franklin Park
- Boalsburg, Centre County
- Berwyn, Chester County
