Here are the top stories today in Pittsburgh:
1) A hit-and-run in the Homewood North neighborhood has left three people injured. The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, near the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and Oakwood Street. Two of victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, and the third was treated by paramedics on the scene. After finding the suspect vehicle, police charged Mia Patterson, 35, for the incident. "Police say Patterson had gotten into a fight with the three other women, and then allegedly hit them with that car she was in."
2) A failed inspection forced the city to close Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge, a critical link between Oakland, Squirrel Hill and Greenfield, unexpectedly. Vehicular traffic was suspended effective immediately, while the closure is expected to last at least four months while renovations costing as much as $2 million are performed. "'Inspection results have come back that tell us this bridge needs repair work to be safe for traffic. It's because of the safety systems that we have put in place over the last year that we can act immediately, and proactively, to close this bridge—preventing another Fern Hollow,' Mayor Ed Gainey said in a statement."
3) Local youth have Pittsburgh City Council on their side when it comes to getting permits for athletic fields. Members of the council understand that there is often competition for time on the city's athletic fields and courts, and they're taking steps to ensure the city's youth have first priority moving forward. A proposed plan, announced back in October, would give first priority to Pittsburgh Public Schools athletics from 2:30 to 5 p.m. on weekdays during the school year. A final vote is expected to take place next week.

4) Beyoncé is bringing her beats to Pittsburgh this summer. Her first local show in 7 years, the musician is touring in support of her latest release "Renaissance," which came out in 2022 and features singles such as "Break My Soul" and "Cuff It." Fans can purchase tickets beginning on Feb. 6. for the show, which will take place at Acrisure Stadium on Aug. 3.
5) A Pittsburgh restaurant has been rated among the nation's 'most romantic' eateries ahead of Valentine's Day. Monterey Bay Fish Grotto, located in Mt. Washington, is the city's only representation on Open Table's list of 100. The restaurant's spectacular city skyline views helped it earn its spot on the list, based on an analysis of 13 million U.S. diner reviews.
