3 Pittsburgh-Area Men Die When Car Crashes Into Tree
Three young men died when their car slammed into a tree over the weekend, police said.
CRAWFORD COUNTY, PA — Three Butler County young men were killed Saturday evening when their car hit a tree in Athens Township.
Pennsylvania State Police at the Corry Barracks said the vehicle was traveling east on Centerville Road at around 8:10 p.m. when it traveled off the road and struck the tree. A passenger in the rear of the car was ejected; the driver and front-seat passenger remained in the car.
Pronounced dead at the scene were Ronald Parisi, 21, of Chicora, the driver; Joshua Boettner, 19 of Butler and Levi Deal, 17, of Butler. Parisi and Deal were cousins.

None of the victims wore a seat belt, police said. The accident report did not indicate whether speeding was a factor in the crash.

Hundreds of people packed Christ's Family Church in Chicora Sunday evening for a vigil for the trio.
Funeral arrangements were not available Monday morning.
