3 Rivers Comicon Moves To The Waterfront
The annual event has a new home this year.

PITTSBURGH, PA - 3 Rivers Comicon used to attract thousands of people to Century III Mall, but with the mall virtually extinct the event has found a new home this year. It will be held May 11 and 12 at the former Macy's store in the Waterfront.
Century III also used to house New Dimension Comics, which promote the event. But New Dimension moved to The Waterfront earlier this year as well.
“Every major city has a Comicon and I want to bring that excitement to Pittsburgh,” said Todd McDevitt, promoter for 3 Rivers Comicon. “In my 32 years in the comic business, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with almost all of the regional talent at one time or another. I can’t wait
to bring them all together for one spectacular occasion.”
