3 Western PA Teens Killed In Fiery Car Crash
The three high school students perished when the car they were in wrecked and burst into flames Thursday, police said.
LAKE TOWNSHIP, PA — Three teens were killed Thursday night when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Mercer County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
James M. Harrison, 18, of Grove City; Harmony Leige, 17, of Mercer; and Aliya Harvey, 17, of Jackson Center died in the crash.

State police were called to the crash scene on Skunk Run Road at about 8:50 p.m. The vehicle was engulfed in flames when they arrived.
According to police, Harrison lost control of the 2011 Chevy Impala while attempting to navigate a curve and the car struck the tree and then caught fire.

The trio were students in the Lakeview School District, which issued a statement Friday on the crash via social media.
"These bright and promising students left us too soon, leaving our community in deep sorrow," the post stated.
"We are confident that our community, known for its unwavering love, support, and unity, will rally together in this time of grief. We will together to offer comfort and support to the families and friends, who are undoubtedly facing an unimaginable loss. As a community, we understand the importance of standing together during such trying times.
"The loss of any young person reminds us of the importance of cherishing each moment, holding our loved ones close, and supporting one another through life's challenges. Let us remember these students for the love, joy, and positivity they brought into our lives.
"In this time of grief, our small rural community stands together, demonstrating the strength of our bonds and the love we have for one another. Together, we will honor the memory of these students and provide the support and comfort needed to heal."
