4th Of July 2024 Grocery Store Hours: Giant Eagle, Walmart & Others

PITTSBURGH, PA — Costco warehouse stores in Homestead and Robinson will be closed on the 4th of July, but many grocery stores will be open for at least limited hours on Thursday for customers who want to pick up last-minute Independence Day cookout and party supplies.

As always, call ahead to make sure local stores are open. Pharmacies within these stores may have different operating hours, so if you need a prescription filled, it’s a good idea to take care of that before the holiday or call ahead to confirm hours.

These stores will be open:

Aldi: Most stores will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

BJ’s Wholesale Club: Stores will observe normal operating hours.

Giant Eagle: Stores will observe normal operating hours; pharmacies will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Market District: Supermarkets will observe normal operating hours; pharmacies are open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sam’s Club: Stores will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. for members, and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for Plus members.

Shop'n Save: Hours vary by location.

Target: Stores will observe normal operating hours.

The Fresh Market: Stores are open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Trader Joe’s: Stores open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Walmart: Stores will observe normal operating hours.

Whole Foods: Stores will observe normal operating hours.
