8 People Arrested In Fights At Pittsburgh-Area Restaurant

BEAVER COUNTY, PA — Eight people were arrested in two separate disturbances late Saturday and early Sunday at It's Good To Go on Sheffield Road in Aliquippa.

According to Aliquippa police, the first incident occurred at approximately 11:05 p.m. on Sept. 19; the second happened at approximately 2:05 a.m. on Sept 20.

During both incidents, Aliquippa and Hopewell Township police officers encountered people who repeatedly were instructed to leave the premises and disperse because of fighting, yelling and causing a disturbance.

Four people from each incident were taken into custody and lodged in the Beaver County Jail.

Charges were filed based on each person's conduct and involvement. The charges included failure of disorderly persons to disperse upon official order, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, public drunkenness, aggravated assault on a police officer, obstructing the administration of law and intimidation of a police K-9.

Not every person faced every charge for the offenses listed above.

Police commended the efforts of the owner and management of Good To Go for taking proactive steps to maintain a safe and orderly environment, including hiring private security.
