Aerosmith Farewell Tour To Make Pittsburgh Stop

PITTSBURGH, PA — After a half-century together, legendary rockers Aerosmith on Monday announced their 40-date farewell tour "Peace Out" that will bring them to Pittsburgh apparently for the final time.
The band will play at PPG Paints Arena on Sept. 6. The Black Crowes will be the opening act.
Tickets go on sale Friday.

“It’s not goodbye, it’s peace out!” band member stated in a joint announcement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
Known for classic rock hits such as "Dream On," "Livin on the Edge," Walk This Way," "Crazy," and "Janie's Got a Gun," the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 and also was the halftime act at the Super Bowl that year.
