Threat Prompts Evacuation Of All Schools In Pittsburgh-Area District
A Pittsburgh-area school district evacuated its school buildings following a threat.
BEAVER COUNTY, PA — All Freedom Area School District schools were evacuated Monday after High School Principal Steve Mott received an emailed bomb threat.
Superintendent Jeff Beltz labeled the threat "nondescript" WPXI-TV reported.
After the high school was evacuated, the district decided to empty the elementary and middle schools as well.

Police were called to the high school and are investigating.
There is as yet no indication that an explosive device was found in any of the schools.
