Allegheny County Controller Takes Plea Deal In Felony Case
Allegheny County Controller Chelsa Wagner was facing felony charge of resisting and obstructing police.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Allegheny County Controller Chelsa Wagner pleaded no contest Thursday to disturbing the peace in connection with an altercation with police last year in a Detroit Hotel. Wagner was sentenced to six months of non-reporting probation, ordered to pay court costs and to contribute to a crime victim's fund, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
Wagner faced a felony charge of resisting and obstructing police. Her no contest plea is for a misdemeanor charge.
Wagner and her husband, Khari Mosley, were in Detroit to see a concert last year when they got into a confrontation with police at their hotel. Mosley was found not guilty on the charges he was facing in the case last July.

In November, Wagner, 42, was found not guilty of disturbing the peace but the jury was deadlocked on the felony obstruction count. She was scheduled to go to trial on that charge in April.
A spokeswoman said Wagner would not be commenting on the plea deal, but Mosley released a statement.
