Allegheny County Coronavirus Case Surge Continues
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Wednesday reported one new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll now stands at 417.
The county reported 133 new cases. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is 14,529.
There have been 1,373 hospitalizations in the county during the outbreak.

With 3,703 cases in Westmoreland County, 2,164 in Beaver County, 1,718 in Washington County and 1,463 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 23,577 when Allegheny County numbers are included.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 692 deaths in the region from the virus: Four hundred and seventeen in Allegheny County, 138 in Beaver County, 76 in Westmoreland County, 34 in Washington County and 27 in Butler County.
