Allegheny County Coronavirus Cases Drop Again
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Saturday reported no new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll remains at 187.
The number of new cases reported was 150, down from 177 on Friday and 233 on the single-day case record on Thursday. The number of new cases in the county during the outbreak now stands at 3,430, up from 3,280 on Friday.
In the newest cases, ages range from 3 to 87 years old with the median age being 26.

Four hundred and eight have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. There were two new hospitalizations on Friday, county officials said.
With 744 confirmed cases in Westmoreland County, 706 in Beaver County, 330 in Butler County and 259 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 5469. That's up from 5,242 on Friday.

According to the state Department of Health, 323 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and eighty-seven in Allegheny County, 79 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 13 in Butler County and six in Washington County. No new deaths occurred on Friday.
