Allegheny County Coronavirus Deaths Increase
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department announced three more coronavirus deaths in the county on Friday. The death toll in the county during the outbreak now stands at 168.
The number of coronavirus cases in the county climbed to 1,973, up from 1,965 on Thursday and 1,952 on Wednesday.
Three hundred and forty-nine people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. That's up from 347 on Thursday and 345 on Wednesday.

With 599 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 455 in Westmoreland County, 240 in Butler County and 140 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,407. That's up from 3,387 on Thursday and 3,366 on Wednesday.
According to the state Department of Health, 298 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and sixty-eight in Allegheny County, 74 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and six in Washington County.
