Allegheny County Has 4 New Coronavirus Deaths, New Cases Top 200
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Friday reported four new coronavirus death. The county death toll now stands at 239.
The latest victims' ages ranged from 74 to 93, according to the health department. They died between July 23 and July 29.
The county reported 244 new cases out of 2,616 test results. Positive results are from tests that span June 30 through July 30. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is
now 8,094.

At least 77 of the new cases were long-term care facility residents and staff, according to the health department.
In the newest cases, ages range from two to 103 years old with the median age being 52.

Six hundred and sixty-nine people been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. Thirty-three new hospitalizations were reported.
With 1,382 cases in Westmoreland County, 1,189 in Beaver County, 723 in Washington County and 593 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 11,981.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 398 deaths in the region from the virus: Two hundred and thirty-nine in Allegheny County, 88 in Beaver County, 45 in Westmoreland County, 15 in Butler County and 11 in Washington County. Beaver reported three new deaths, Washington reported one.
