Allegheny County Health Department Closes 4 Food Businesses
The health department shut down the four businesses for an increasingly common violation.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has shut down four food businesses for operating without a valid health permit.
They are:
- Dirty Birds Chicken & Waffles, 5508 3rd St., Verona.
- L & L Cake Pops, 801 Norvell Dr., Penn Hills.
- Lee’s Ooey Gooey Chewies, 215 Edgewood Ave., Swissvale.
- Roderica Pope, doing business as Highly Treated, 2304 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver.
The businesses will remain closed until they obtain a health permit.
