Allegheny County Reports Dozens Of New Coronavirus Cases
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — There were n0 new coronavirus deaths reported in Allegheny County on Wednesday, the county health department announced. The county death toll remains at 184.
Thirty-seven new cases were reported. The number of cases during the outbreak in the county now stands at 2,321.
Three hundred and seventy-eight people people have been hospitalized in the county during
the outbreak. There were six new hospitalizations on Wednesday.

With 634 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 563 in Westmoreland County, 277 in Butler County and 176 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,971.
According to the state Department of Health, 319 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and eighty-four in Allegheny County, 78 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 13 in Butler County and six in Washington County. The death toll is unchanged from Wednesday.
