Allegheny County Reports No New Coronavirus Deaths
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Sunday reported no new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll remains at 222.
The county reported 133 new cases out of 1,750 test results. Positive results are from tests that span July 7 through July 253. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is now 7,294.
In the newest cases, ages range from two years to 95 years old with the median age being 53.

Five hundred and eighty-one people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. Four new hospitalizations were reported.
With 1,271 cases in Westmoreland County, 1,101 in Beaver County, 654 in Washington County and 544 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 10,853 when Allegheny County numbers are included.

According to the state Department of Health, there have been 371 deaths in the region from the virus: Two hundred and twenty-two in Allegheny County, 82 in Beaver County, 43 in Westmoreland County, 14 in Butler County and 10 in Washington County.
