Allegheny County Reports No New Coronavirus Deaths

Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Thursday reported zero new
coronavirus deaths. The county death toll remains at 358.

The county reported 54 new cases. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is 10 969.. There have been 1,042 hospitalizations in the county during the outbreak.

With 1,924 cases in Westmoreland County, 1,722 in Beaver County, 1,156 in Washington County and 904 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 16,765 when Allegheny County numbers are included.

According to the state Department of Health, there have been 561 deaths in the region from the virus: Three hundred and fifty-eight in Allegheny County, 105 in Beaver County, 49 in Westmoreland County, 28 in Washington County and 21 in Butler County. Beaver reported three new deaths, Butler two.
