Allegheny County Reports Two New Coronavirus Deaths
Here are the lastest coronanvirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Thursday reported two new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll now stands at 219.
The deaths occurred on June 28 and July 22, according to the health department.
The county reported 147 new cases out of 1,172 test results. Positive results are from tests that span July 6 through July 22. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is now 6,817 up from 6,670 on Wednesday.

In the newest cases, ages range from nine to 93 years old with the median age being 38.
Five hundred and fifty-one people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. Fifteen new hospitalizations were reported.

With 1,214 cases in Westmoreland County, 1,046 in Beaver County, 603 in Washington County and 513 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 10,193. when Allegheny County numbers are included. That's up from 9,974 on Wednesday.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 366 deaths in the region from the virus: Two hundred and nineteen in Allegheny County, 82 in Beaver County, 41 in Westmoreland County, 14 in Butler County and 10in Washington County. Beaver and Westmoreland each reported one new death.
