Allegheny County To Resume Dine-In Service At Bars, Restaurants
The county health department is rescinding its recent order prohibiting dine-in service at bars and restaurants.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Allegheny County Health Department Director Dr. Debra Bogen on Friday rescinded a July 8 order that banned indoor dining at restaurants because of a recent spike in coronavirus cases. The county now will primarily follow the guidelines of an executive order issued Wednesday by Gov. Tom Wolf, which allows indoor dining at 25 percent capacity.
However, the following exceptions remain for the county:
Indoor and outdoor seating areas for sit-down, dine-in service at bars, restaurants and private catered events will be closed to patrons by 11:00 p.m.

Take-out sales continue to be permitted after 11:00 p.m.
The use of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited at all indoor and outdoor dining facilities and indoors at casinos.

Indoor events and gatherings of more than 25 persons are prohibited and outdoor events and gatherings of more than 50 persons are banned.
