Allegheny County Shuts Down Another Pittsburgh Bar
The Allegheny County Health Department has shuttered two Pittsburgh taverns in less than a week.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Besides operating without a valid health permit, operating against previously ordered closure orders and refusing to admit health inspectors, every thing is OK at Fat Catz.
Except for the fact the Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the bar, also known as The Lobbi, to close for the above reasons.
The tavern is located on Brownsville Road in the city's Knoxville section.

Health inspectors recently needed the assistance of city police to enter the bar.
Another bar on Brownsville Road, O'Fela African lounge in Carrick, has been shuttered largely because of a rat infestation, according to the health department website.

That bar also the bar was operating without a valid health permit and also was operating
carbon monoxide equipment without proper ventilation. The space also was found to have improper wastewater disposal and plumbing issues.
