PITTSBURGH, PA — Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off games players around the Pittsburgh area have experienced plenty of good fortune recently.
The lottery announced that a scratch-off ticket worth a $1 million prize was sold in Allegheny County. A "Snake, Rattle, and Roll," a $20 scratch-off ticket with prizes up to $1 million, was sold at the Sunoco gas station on William Penn Highway in Wilkins.
The gas station will receive a $5,000 payment for selling the winning ticket.
Earlier this week, two winning Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off tickets worth a combined total of $8.25 million were sold in and around Pittsburgh.
A top prize on the $500,000 a Year for Life scratch-off was sold at Kesari LLC (BP), 838 East Warrington Avenue in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood. The $500,000 a Year for Life Scratch-Off is a $20 game that offers a top prize of $500,000 a year for life or a cash option of $7.25 million.
A $1 million-winning Game Show Experience scratch-off was sold at Bellevue Tobacco & News LLC, 615 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Game Show Experience is a $30 game that offers top prizes of $1 million.
Winners should sign the back of their ticket and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to begin the claiming process.
