An hour-long public induction ceremony is set for Oct. 13 at The Terminal, and Smallman Street will be closed between 17th and 21st streets during the event.

Man, 19, arrested in connection with East Busway stabbing (wpxi.com) β Pittsburgh police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with last week's stabbing at the East Liberty Station along the East Busway, which left a Wilkinsburg man in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian. Authorities note the suspect was already facing charges in an earlier Garfield stabbing and a prior South Side shooting case.

The annual CORE ceremony highlights powerful personal stories and encourages local residents to consider registering as organ donors to support neighbors in need.
