2. Markers for new Pittsburgh Walk of Fame inductees to be installed Monday (cbsnews.com) — Pittsburgh's Walk of Fame is adding 10 new honorees, with granite markers being installed today along Smallman Street in the Strip District. An hour-long public induction ceremony is set for Oct. 13 at The Terminal, and Smallman Street will be closed between 17th and 21st streets during the event.

Man, 19, arrested in connection with East Busway stabbing (wpxi.com) — Pittsburgh police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with last week's stabbing at the East Liberty Station along the East Busway, which left a Wilkinsburg man in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian. Authorities note the suspect was already facing charges in an earlier Garfield stabbing and a prior South Side shooting case.

Dweezil Zappa 20: Like Father, Like Son Tour • MUSICFESTNEWS (musicfestnews.com) — Dweezil Zappa is bringing his DZ20 "Like Father, Like Son" tour to the Roxian Theatre in Pittsburgh on October 31, giving local fans a chance to hear faithful, high-energy renditions of Frank Zappa's music. The 34-date run spans the U.S. and Canada, but this Halloween stop offers Pittsburghers a rare opportunity to experience the tribute live close to home.
   

5. Ceremony in Pittsburgh area honors lives, impact of 2,500 Western Pennsylvania organ & tissue donors (wpxi.com) — Families from around Pittsburgh gathered in O'Hara Township on Sunday to honor about 2,500 Western Pennsylvania organ and tissue donors whose gifts helped save and improve lives. The annual CORE ceremony highlights powerful personal stories and encourages local residents to consider registering as organ donors to support neighbors in need.
