PITTSBURGH, PA — Bankrupt retailer Big Lots is closing an additional 46 stores across the country, and one of them is the Pittsburgh area. The Big Lots location at 1701 Lincoln Highway in North Versailles is being shuttered, according to a bankruptcy court filing last week.

That will bring the total number of Big Lots closures in Western Pennsylvania to five. The discount chain recently announced the leases of these stores would be auctioned off:

  • Coraopolis: 2820 Gracy Center Way.
  • Monroeville: 4047 William Penn Highway.
  • Aliquippa: 3113 Green Garden Road.
  • Waynesburg: 110 Greene Plaza

Big Lots has said its stores and online shopping site will continue to operate as usual during the bankruptcy proceedings. The retailer expects to be able to continue to honor gift cards and store credit cards.
