Another Popular Pittsburgh TV Broadcaster Leaving Town

A Pittsburgh news anchor is picking up stakes and moving to a larger TV market.

PITTSBURGH, PA — KDKA-TV weekend morning news anchor Brianna Smith will leave the station next month to take a job with WPVI-TV in Philadelphia.

Smith announced the move on social media.

"My last day is May 24," she stated. "Steel City: I can't thank you enough for providing me with love, growth and memories these past two years."

Smith's impending departure follows last week's news that WPXI-TV meteorologist Jessica Faith also is leaving town. Faith is joining the weather team at NBC 4 in Washington, D.C.
