Arrest Made In Pittsburgh-Area Fatal Bar Shooting
A man has been charged in connection with a shooting death that occurred in the parking lot of a Pittsburgh-area tavern.
PITTSBURGH, PA — An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in the parking lot of a Braddock Hills bar earlier this month.
Allegheny County police announced on Thursday that Abdullaah Franken, 23, of Washington, Washington County, has been charged in the death of William Coffey, 24.
County 911 was notified of the shooting at 1:52 a.m. on June 7 in the parking lot of J Cats bar on Wilkins Avenue. First responders pronounced Coffey dead at the scene.

According to police, through witness interviews and surveillance video, Francken was identified as the alleged shooter. He has been charged with criminal homicide, persons not to possess a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license.
County police and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force took Francken into custody. He is being housed in the county jail.
