Art Institute Of Pittsburgh Closing Permanently
Find out here when the Strip District campus closes for good.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Art Institute of Pittsburgh will close permanently at the end of March. According to a closure plan compiled by its parent company, Dream Center Education Holdings, the institute is shutting down for a variety of reasons, including significantly declining enrollment.
The institute has only 230 students enrolled at its Strip District campus on Penn Avenue. Those students and the nearly 2,000 who take course online can either complete their classes by the closure date, transfer to another art institute or enroll in one of the institute’s partner institutions.
The institute’s future has been in doubt since last summer when Dream Center announced plans to shutter 30 art institute campuses, including its Philadelphia branch. That move left Pittsburgh as the only city in Pennsylvania with an art institute.
