Atria's Restaurant Slapped With Consumer Alert

Numerous violations were found at one of the Pittsburgh-based chain's eight location.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for the Atria’s chain’s O’Hara location on Freeport Road.

  • Inspectors visiting the restaurant Wednesday found the following violations:
  • Unsafe cooling of prepared foods.
  • Unsafe cold-holding temperatures of foods.
  • Inadequate facilities to maintain safe food temperatures.
  • Employees handling food that is ready-to consume.
  • Employees eating in food preparation and handling area.
  • Dish machine not sanitizing.

The restaurant remains open while the alert is in place. The alert does not affect Atria’s other locations in Mt. Lebanon, Peters, Pleasant Hills, Richland, Norwin, Murrysville and Morgantown.
