Bank Robber In Wig Is At Large: Police

The FBI and the Pittsburgh police are asking the public for tips to find the man who held up a Dollar Bank on Monday.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man wearing a wig robbed a South Side bank on Monday, and the FBI and Pittsburgh police are asking the public for help in identifying him. The man walked into the Dollar Bank, at 1712 East Carson St., displayed a knife and demanded cash, the police said.

He wore sunglasses and a long brunette wig, the police said. The robber fled on foot towards Sarah Street with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The FBI described the robber as a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 to 160 pounds.
