Bed Bath & Beyond Closing 4 More PA Stores

PENNSYLVANIA — Four more Bed Bath & Beyond locations in the state are closing as the struggling retailer launches a last-ditch effort to remain in business. The chain on Wednesday revealed the 149 additional stores that are being shuttered a week after saying 87 locations are going out of business.

The newest Pennsylvania locations that are closing:

  • Cranberry Township.
  • King of Prussia.
  • Mechanicsburg.
  • Wyomissing.

Closure dates and the start of going out of business sales for the doomed stores were not announced. The company is cutting the number of Bed Bath & Beyond stores from 760 to about 360. As recently as 2017, the chain had more than 1,500 stores, CNN reported.
