Bed Bugs Force Duquesne Incline Closure

The incline was treated for the pests earlier this week.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Duquesne Incline closed Wednesday for additional bed bug treatment and won't reopen until 5 a.m. Friday, the Port Authority of Allegheny County announced. Both incline cars and the upper and lower stations will be treated.

The incline was treated overnight for bed bugs as well.

Until the incline reopens, the Port Authority will operate a shuttle bus from the upper station on
Grandview Avenue to the lower station on West Carson Street.
