Bedbug Woes Close Pittsburgh-Area High School
Bedbugs were discovered Monday on a student's clothing at the school.

LEETSDALE, PA — Quaker Valley High School is closed today after a staff member on Monday discovered bedbugs on a student's clothing. An extermination company will treat the high school today and the building will reopen on Wednesday, according to an announcement on the Quaker Valley School District Facebook page.
Quaker Valley is composed of students from Sewickley, Leetsdale, Edgeworth, Glen Osborne, Sewickley Hills,Sewickley Heights, Bell Acres, Haysville, Glenfield, as well Leet and Aleppo townships.
