Best Places To Shop On Black Friday Around Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA - Black Friday is one of the biggest days of the year for retailers and most will be offering a variety of great discounts and deals to get consumers into their stores.

To help shoppers prepare for Friday's frenzy, personal finance website WalletHub has released a report on the best places to shop that day. Here are the retailers with locations in and around Pittsburgh which have the highest average discount on everything in the store.

1. JCPenney: 61.0 percent
2. Kohl's: 57.1 percent
3. Dick's Sporting Goods: 52.3 percent
4. Kmart: 51.8 percent
5. Sears: 49.2 percent
6. Macy's: 46.1 percent
7. Nordstrom: 36.9 percent
8. Office Depot and OfficeMax: 36.6 percent
9. Staples, 34.7 percent
10. Walmart, 34.3 percent

Walmart has the highest average discount on all books, movies and music products, at 73.18 percent, with a total discount of 34.3 percent.

To determine the retailers offering the best money-saving bargains this Black Friday, WalletHub analyzed nearly 8,000 deals in the 2019 Black Fridayads from 29 of the largest U.S. retailers. The deals were then sorted into 11 different product categories, such as apparel and accessories, consumer electronics, and video games.
